2 designs with my kimonos

I love the kimono beads

Here is my first attempt, I decided to try to combine them with some gemstones that are not too shiny.


And then I thought the red jaspers stood out a bit much and took away from the really delicate shades of the kimonos, so I took them out. Here is my second attempt:

I think I need to see more inspiration though, as I'm now out of ideas! I was going to try with peacock pearls but again I think they are too strong for the delicate colour of these beads... might still have a go though But going to wear this last bracelet for a while now

I vote a big YES to your second combination!! I much prefer it over the first.

Very nice to see them with other beads. They look nice together, I can imagine they will combine well too once you get playing around with them.

I hope to pick my set up tomorrow. I need inspiration too!!

I much prefer the second combination as well. Mine won't arrive till next week, but I am planning to try them with chalcedony and labs.

I think they would look good with pink quartz and labs, maybe a pale aventurine?

I also love them - my SIL is getting me a set from the States for my birthday - I'll have to wait a while. I would like to put them with pearls - I think I need a pink one!

I like the second design best, if I was to buy some I would put them with beads from my gemstone half kit. I like the grey with the bird design, but wouldn't it have been stunning on a blue background? The blue and green beads remind me of Wedgewood pottery. I would like to see the beads IRL but would have to make a special trip which I haven't got time for at the moment. It has been good to see the photos on here , thank you for posting them.

I changed my mind about going to see them, I got the grey one, the pink one had gone and my LD only had one set. It's such a delicate design and have put it with my LE gemstones, it makes a low key bracelet to match with most things without thinking about it. I also took the opportunity to look at the Spring flower beads. I bought Pastel Flower and am hoping for more from the set later in the year.

You are right~the Jaspers overpower the delicate Kimono Beads. The second design is beautiful.
