Scottish Islands
I made this bracelet to capture some of the sights, colours and textures of holidays to the Scottish Islands including Orkney, Skye and Mull.
From left to right:
Trollbeads blue shadow (the colour of moody skies and seas); Trollbeads Tupilak; Kit Heath Heritage; Tara's Diary fishing boat (a lovely realistic fishing boat, well made and finished); Trollbeads smoky quartz; Trollbeads flounder (you can see flat fish from the pier at Tobermoray in Mull); Trollbeads jasper (colour of rocks);Trollbeads lighthouse (lots of these to be found); Artisan bead; Lovelinks knot; Kit Heath Heritage; Charity Beads seal (fundraising for The National Seal Sanctuary - a lovely detailed bead of a swimming seal with sparkling cubic zirconia eyes)- lots of seals around the coast;Trollbeads white diamond - like sparkling waves; Chamilia rain cloud - it rains a lot when we go!; Trollbeads grey prism; Tara's Diary thatched cottage (there are many thatched crofts like this on the islands); Lovelinks silver grey glitter ball - like rocks and sea; Jilly beads wood - like driftwood; Trollbeads fish lock.

Awww... you want me to visit there in an instance! The boat looks like our small Orkney boat (fishing boat) and I adore the thatched house!
Great combo!

I love this. Did you get the seal sanctuary one from them recently?? Got to have this one. I've been to the Cornish sanctuary a few times. The work that they do is great.

Beautiful! I love being in Scotland. I've been there several times and my brother lives there as well. Need to get to the Shetlands one day, but Orkney is still one of my favorite places on Earth.

Hi Mavis - the seal bead is one of a range of charity beads where a proportion of the money goes to the charity. Here is where I got the seal:

He is absolutely adorable.

Re: Scottish Islands
I've visited quite a few Scottish islands (and I lived and worked in Orkney for 6 months), and this really does evoke the spirit of the islands.
I love the colouring.

What a beautiful combo, and thank you for listing what they're all called/who makes them- that is great!
The little cottage is adorable - is the roof gold? Or maybe I'm seeing a reflection?

Hello Mini Gnome - the roof of the cottage is gold plated. I was really pleased with it. Tara's Diary do more Irish/Celtic things. So the cottage is based on Irish ones, but there are crofts that look just the same.
I have seen a Stonehenge bead which is an archeological Dolmen, which does in fact look more like those found on Scottish islands:

I need a friend in the US though to send it over marked as a gift, as it is over the limit to avoid heavy import, tax and post office handling charges. Any volunteers!

Re: Scottish Islands
Here is the link to the company that do Tara's Diary beads. They are based in Dublin - nice! I have my eye on their new Arran sweater bead.

The fishing boat is this one:

It was a special commission for this shop, so not available elsewhere. I contacted Shanore and they kindly got one for me - brilliant customer service.

Hello Pandabee- I don't buy lots from any one dealer really and tend not to shop locally much at the moment as other dealers elsewhere have more knowledge and enthusiasm for Trollbeads. I call in to the Acotis shop in Harbourne in Birmingham when I can as they have a real enthusiast working there. She spends lots of time with me helping me to decide and plan. I bought a ruby bead there last time!
