Faust in the Desert
Trollbeads Scarab and Cactus on Catherine Michiels ribbon in colour Faust.
This ribbon can look more brown or more sky blue depending on how you position the stripes.

A strikingly simple and highly effective combo, BB!
CM may be overpriced, but on the other hand I think they have the nicest colours. I do wonder, why CM named this style "Faust"? Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks. I think the tiny and horrendously expensive silvers are also hauntingly attractive but I don't think that I will end up with a collection of them.

I thought I would, but luckily I got away with just one!
And (fingers crossed) I hope that I got over CM mania. If only they will be so decent as not to bring out any new releases or (gaaaa!) LEs!

I have only got one silver too but I have been reading the little booklet and it is seductive.

Re: Faust in the Desert
I have a stupide question
How do you close the silk ribbon ? Just making a knot?
I wonder if it could be possible to make a curl (as on leather bracelet) we need to make a little of dressmaking and then it could be possible to add a lock...
But on silk it might be hard... and maybe not so nice... I wonder...

Yes it is just a knot. You could add a lock but that might cause problems with changing beads. I think there is a system for doing that OK but can't remember where to find it.

Re: Faust in the Desert
I was looking on internet, i saw tutorial showing how to close the bracelet.
Then when i will receive my ribbons i will see and i might try to add a lock i have an idea to do it without dressmaking but at the end i am not sure it will look so good....
I think it is possible to add the beads at first, then make a knot, then we can use the lock if we double the bracelet. It is hard to explain it
