@Bluesybeads: Yes they roll, I love their clinking noise!
I think metal = G O L D it is! As I don't want my credit card to expire (literally, that is) I picked 3 gold beads (one double plus a third) to go on a thin gold necklace I am wearing all the time.
I might boost that design with two peacock pearls or red-pink prisms, using the pattern for the element beads in the negative: 3 metal/2 identical glass instead of 3 identical glass/2 metal.
It's too dark for a pic, but can you guess which gold beads I used when I give you this clue: pentagonal symmetry?
