Calcium? That's interesting... I never heard of that. I learned that opaque white amber contains hundred thousands of air bubbles per mm2 which gives the white appearance. It's like solid foam and therefore the light reflected from the bubbles makes the solid look.
Anyway, you got a real beauty there and yes, it's the start of a big addiction (I can tell )!
