New Indigo Kit
Threw together a quick bracelet to wear to work tomorrow with the new Indigo Kit. I really like these beads and think I will have to get another Cozy or two and perhaps another Traces and Wave of Dreams too!

The blue kit is the most attractive kit to me since the Caravan Kit. I can't buy it now, but I hope to have it by Christmas.

I saw them in real life. The cozy is a beauty, but they all were so big! I've asked my jeweller to look out for a small cozy for me. But I bought the blue flowerbead, together with a blue tigers eye. I'm really happy with them :-)

Re: New Indigo Kit
What strikes me is that this is one of the few kits that really is a 6-member ensemble, no oddball beads that don't seem to quite go.
I do like the beads! I saw several individually photographed indigo kits online last night. There is quite a bit of variation in them, I definitely would prefer to pick them out in person. Wave of Dreams in particular, some have aqua in them and some are just varying blues. The Eye varies a lot, also; some just look like plain blue bubbles, some have the swirling colours in them like Azure Bubbles.

I was talking with a couple of ladies at my LD's about this very thing. There is a lot of variation in the color in the new glass including the Scarlet Kit too. The peach bubbles were all very different and the Waves of Dreams like Linda Jo said. The flower bead in the blue kit had a lot of variation in the color of the flower with some so dark it was hard to make out the flower. Definitely see these in person or see pictures of individual beads when buying online!

Re: New Indigo Kit
Thank you so much for posting your beautiful bracelet. The pearl lock and beads and the touches of white enhance the new beads. I am looking forward to seeing the fall release in person.

Re: New Indigo Kit
Didn't the size of the glassbeads bother you girls? Or have you seen some nice little ones? Just curious. Maybe I must accept the fact that 14 mm beads are from the old days?

Re: New Indigo Kit
Tinka - I love the larger beads. I'm sure that is individual choice though. I think it's because I don't need my eye glasses to appreciate them. Oh, the signs of getting older...:-)

Re: New Indigo Kit
Wendy, I even need my eye glasses to see the larger glassbeads :-))
But of course it is a matter of personal taste. It's not that i don't like the larger ones , but I want to make combo's with all - the- same - size - glass. That makes it so difficult to use the older glass with the new together.

Re: New Indigo Kit
Tinka - Ohhh, I just started collecting in May so I haven't seen the older glass. I can see what you mean, especially if you like uniformity. That would be me. :-)
