Kimono silks for the Summer

I have had the Kimono kit for a year but have mostly been wearing them on a necklace because I found them very hard to combine for a bracelet. However with my new Ume bead I think I have cracked it at last. I have put them together with a couple of Mountain Crystals, a Jasper and all my "round" silver beads. I plan to get a second pink Sakura at some point but for now I am very happy with this; it's so nice to be able to wear them and look at them at last.

Very pretty, I wear mine a lot during summer, it's the best set I ever bought. Well I actually bought 2 sets, but sold 2 beads, and now I'm looking to replace them :-)

My daughter adores the Kimono beads. I thought about getting her the set eventually piece by piece, but the beads are really hard to find, especially the pink one. I can find the whole set and maybe that is just how I am going to have to acquire them.

I sold 2 beads out of my 2 sets, because I didn't like the way the the cores were placed. But I'm very picky Now I need a grey and an lightblue to make the second set complete, but I don't dare to order online. In the shops they are not easy to find Good luck Ceru, hope you manage to find a beautiful set for your daughter!

Beautiful! One of my favorites too! I still get most inquiries when wearing my kimono bracelet, especially when checking out the Pandora counter at our 'local Harrods', as these kimono beads are so unique! None of the other brands offer such a cohesive series of 'glass' in such delicate design and colors... and I love the Ohm silvers I got to do my bracelet. Beautiful picture too!

Lovely bracelet. The Kimono beads are so pretty and unusual, i feel inspired to get mine out for some bead play.

Lovely! I find that using white beads between them helps the colors in the Kimonos to pop!

Love the kimonos together as a set. Their matte finish also makes them a bit subdued in contrast with other glass. Pearls go nicely with them.
