Malawis with chicken

I decided to collect these beads even though I do prefer smaller cores..I've had a play and I like them with ambers and stones....I would like just one more (one of the spotty ones) to finish this combo..




Transition woman is replaced with Tortoise and Hare..Representing all the fables and stories from Africa...Particularly West Africa..When my son was small he loved the Anansi the spider stories.

Lovely! I haven't seen many Malawi beads and now I am thinking I need some! I especially like the one 4 down on the right.

The hare painting the donkeys to make them Zebras was my favourite story, then I found out about the Quagga and found the story was true !

The chicken is perfect in this bright, exotic landscape! You can almost hear it clucking around the colorful village.
