A BIG Thank You...

To Pete...Nicedays husband who made me my beautiful Lebanese Cedar wood beads . I met Niceday & her DH at the Acotis event and she had on a wonderful combo of different wood turned beads . When I asked about the beads, Niceday said her DH (Pete) had made them When I talked to Pete about them, he said he would be able to make me a set of Lebanese Cedars . I was absolutely thrilled as I was born in Lebanon and loved the idea of being able to make a bead combo that was that was personal to me

So here is a picture of my necklace combo with my new beads that I shall be wearing to work tomorrow

The picture doesn't do them justice as it was taken late evening indoors...I need to be out in the sunshine!

How wonderful twinklebeads, that's so special, surrounding yourself with little pieces of nature from your homeland . They're beautiful (love the other stones you've put with them too, especially the landscape jasper!). Pete's a very skilled craftsman, every one of his beads is a little work of art ~ and they're so lovely to wear, I love mine to bits!!

the beads are pretty in and of themselves, but the fact the wood is so meaningful for you really makes these extra special!

Looks so great... love that wood and also you're absolutely amazing grape bead !!! Actually you do need woodenbeads that comes from the vinebranches. I have a glass pendant with real wine from saint emilion in it... that is so special... Love your combination !!!

the beads were made from was a spectacular tree and must have been a few hundred years old, it just amazing how old some trees can get.Thats why I like wood its like owning a bit of history

I'm glad you like what I've done with them, they turned out really lovely and I think the wood goes so nicely with the gems And I agree with you about how special wood is especially when they come from such amazing trees like the Cedar

I'm glad you like my grape bead, it goes on here because it also reminds me of the time I lived in Lebanon, lots of grape vine which is also used to make one of my favourite foods...stuffed vine leaf, yumm! And of course let's not forget Jesus performed his first miracle in the mountains of Lebanon when he turned the water to wine

These beads are so fantastic - big troll envy here!! I´d love to feel them - they must be very comfortable to wear. Great they have a special meaning to you too!!
