With a new dragon bead addition by Trollbeads for Fall we thought it interesting to share some other, less known, dragon beads/designs. There are quite some beads available nowadays, quite a few to choose from...

I guess I should show you my dragons bracelet. I finished this last year, but am still not satisfied with my photo attempts, so had not posted it. It's a mix of modern stylized dragons with old Asian style dragons.






This is an Amore & Baci triple-strand leather bracelet in bronze with a magnetic clasp (one end screws off to slide beads on). The basket weave stopper clips at either end are also from Amore & Baci. The beads, from left to right: Biagi crouched coiling dragon, Lovelinks dragon, A&B Dragon Dance, TB Lucky Dragon, A&B wrapped Dragon, A&B Baby Dragon, A&B Chinese Dragon. (That last little 'leaf' of metal is the A&B name tag on the bracelet.)

Wow, LindaJo! That is a fantastic array of dragons. And thanks for the dragon bead round-up, Sita. The Zable dragon looks East Asian.

The Zable dragon looks good, I've had one on my ebay watch list for eons. But I'm afraid it's another 2.5D bead, not fully three-dimensional. Like a dragon shaped box with details only on two sides, not around the perimeter. See this ebayer's picture:

I've learned that many of Zable's beads are this way. Obviously, it doesn't bother everybody. But I don't like flat box charms like that.

Gosh...didn't knows there wherr somuch different brands with dragon beads. There lovely. I'm no dragon collector...but there will be enough girls who would love to own some of these.
