Is new Pax faulty??

Hi Everyone,
I am a new user to the site. Already found lots of helpful advise. Must say a special thanks for all the hints re. uploading pics to threads. I have been a Trollbead fan for 3 years now but finances dictate that I am not an avid collector. Postman bought me the Pax bead below today which I love. My concern is that either side of the doves head is gold. Is it tarnished and needs cleaning?? A production fault?? Is it a bit of gold inadvertently added?? Any ideas would be gratefully recieved. I purchased from a Platinum dealer so there would be no issue returning but may keep as a bit different?? Have attached a pic but as you can imagin its a bit difficult to capture.

I would guess tarnish, but a bit hard to say from a photo.

It certainly looks like something other then tarnish...

I've noticed yellowish shine on beads which have been mistreated in a silver bath and then left to tarnish on the rack again...

Thanks. I have cleaned it but need to see it in daylight now. I think now it is tarnished and may send it back for another.

If its just tarnish it should polish off without much trouble

If it's really been in a silver bath, that kind of tarnish won't come off again! But it's too hard to tell from the pic.
