A pair of dragons have set up home
These two beauties arrived just over a week ago. They lost no time in setting up home together and getting settled down to amassing precious stones and gold and guarding their treasure. I am hoping they will breed if I leave them together for long enough

The detail on these locks is just amazing, they are so intricate, even down to the little teeth. I am awed at the quality of the casting and finishing, I hope Sita and her team of jewellers are proud of their products, they are absolutely top class.

I love your the rich bracelets full of exquisite treasures but I am scared to look for too long in case the dragons start breeding in front of my eyes.

Lovely combos MoC. The Dragons are needed to guard this pair.

Re: A pair of dragons have set up home
You might have to breed 2 silver dragons together to get a silver and gold dragon and then mate 2 silver and gold dragons to get a proper gold one. It sounds like an expensive process to me. I wonder if they are only attracted to mates with certain colour eyes? It could be very complicated?

Re: A pair of dragons have set up home
I haven't studied dragon genetics in sufficient depth to be able to guess what sort of offspring these two might have.
I did have my name down for a gold one, and now that I have seen the quality of the silver ones I am very keen to go for a gold one. It would be nice to breed my own, but I think the stud fee would be astronomical
I haven't had a rush of gold fever for a while, I think a gold dragon would be a good way to have a relapse
I don't know what colour eyes would look best with gold, I like green but black would look striking as well?

Is your gold snake a trollbead?![]()
I have Pelagius the Wise to thank for putting me on to the Steampunk beads and I have three more on the way

The gold snake is a Pandora; I don't think Troll ever made the snake in gold as a production bead? But someone may have got one as a special order gold bead. If they have I would love to see it. I like the Pandora snake it has a cute smile, but the Troll one has a more artistic look about it.

Really, now, is there any color that does not look great with gold???

I keep wondering whether they are about to lay an Alexandrite egg?

That is very hard to guess because I have never seen proper photographs of such an egg.

It must depend on whether the egg is laid by daylight or candle light?

I think it will hatch into a black or maybe dark green scaled fire dragon. Do I get a prize?

Or red, under the correct light

Anyway, my two dragons haven't laid any eggs yet, they have only been here a week and apart from grabbing some of my best beads I haven't seen any X-rated action

It is a Fire Dragon so it has burning red breath.
Maybe they only mate at the full moon?
