Where to get a nice bead box? Empty Where to get a nice bead box?

I'm looking for a bead box or a play tray. Does anyone know where you can buy such things? My LD doesn't have any. It would be nice if it wasn't too expensive, I just bough quite a few beads so my beadbudget has already been blown for the next month! Smile

A lot of people have made their own out of sewing boxes or tool chests. Smaller ones can be made from cigar boxes.

How big does it need to be?

Thanks for the link, found a few box sellers through previous posts but I would love to see more. ^_^

A small box would do, a sigar box would be a perfect size for me.
I'm not very DIY, but if I find a nice box I could ask my dad to help me. It would be a fun project.

I would love to see how other people's storage solutions, because right now I just put them in a pouch and it would be more fun if you could actually see them.

The pen case and the vintage box are both very nice! It's fun to see what others use as their bead box and it gives me inspiration to make/find one of my own. There are a few antique shops around here, maybe I can look there to find a nice box to convert to a bead box? Thanks for the pics! (I would love to see more)

This presentation case also can be ordered though German retailers but is quite a bit more expensive (€ 450,-).

And then there's the storage rack with rods (€ 50,-):

Another storage rack (€ 120,-):

Additionally another German retailer offer this (non Trollbeads) box at € 49,-

Thanks for all the pictures! I decided I'm going to try and convert a box myself (wish me luck). I'm going box hunting tomorrow. Does anyone know what te technique is called to transfer pictures onto wood? I'd like to try that though I'm not sure what I need for it. Smile
