I got it in my head that I was going to make a julbock to go with my tomte bead this year. The idea was inspired by a Christmas set that I saw last year with the straw version of the julbock. I'm sure that I had a few of these straw ornaments at one point (although I can't find them now).

I had a bit of a blip where I ran out of metal clay halfway through, but he's done! I googled "Scandinavian Christmas" and white and red were the predominant colours, so I went with them Laughing
