Has anybody seen this on D4E (just checking I'm not seeing things cyclops

£2335.72 GBP (!) is maybe a little steep for me to pay for just one bead... Laughing

Wouldn't mind the silver one some day though Wink

I don't even like the silver one. Gold doesn't interest me either. But I am sure somebody will buy it.

Wow... crazy prices and the photo looks like the silver version. Not for me, but I do have a new appreciation for the silver version. cyclops

It's an audacious bead at an audacious price! It's a shame they don't show the gold version, I expect if would look amazing, gold takes up the details so well, the chasing on the oceans would be lovely.

The silver version is heavy, approximate 8g, heavy enough to have to require a proper assay mark when sold in the UK. The naughty dragon was on D4E a while back (maybe a year ago?) and that was over 3000 GBP. You could buy quite a nice car for that, but the bead would hold it's value better!

The special order gold beads are always expensive, it's not just the price of the gold, but the cost of the labour involved in making a one off. I think they have to use a different mould from the one used for the silver versions.
