Cozy on the Beach

Beach bracelets are one of my favourite theme bracelets and building up the silver collection you see was my 'summer project' last year. The lovely RBF Cowrie at 7 o'clock was a more recent gift from dear Naranja, it fits perfectly and I treasure it. At 10 o'clock is a Bower Beads Seastars - Traces and Cozy fit right in, I have some new artisan beads to play with on this theme too. Its amazing how many different stone and glass beads can work into a beach theme:






We've only had one 30 degree day so far in Melbourne, where is summer?

Just by chance I went straight from your eucalyptus bracelet to this one, and wow, I'm very jealous of your beads! Two of the broad themes I have for collecting beads at the moment are "Australia/Among the gum trees" and "Beach"! This is one of the best beach bracelets I've seen, and is very inspiring for creating a beach bracelet with natural beachy colours, and you've even got the "jewel sea"! Which gemstone is that?

@AGT, the close up gemstone is a Trollbeads Labradorite, the sea green one is a chalcedony cored and lined by one of the members here, one of my favourite beads. Please share your eucalyptus garden bracelet and beach bracelet! 'Beach' theme is so much fun, I do bright sunny ones, gentler ones like this, even dark stormy ones and an all cream one once too. Sandy beads, rocky beads, blue, green, pearls, amber, they all work with beach/sea beads and there are some great ones out there.

This is an amazing combination of beads.

It's the sea-green bead I was asking about, thanks. I'll post a picture as soon as I've completed a bracelet. I'm still new to trollbeads and I'm having trouble collecting beads for just one "theme" so it might be a little while before I have a finished bracelet that actually looks half decent.

I wish that I could dip my toes into that lovely pale water but it is winter here and it would be dark grey/green, freezing and quite the opposite to cosy. Thanks for posting such a delicious creation to remind me that of the warm days at the other end of the year.

I don't have any of the fall collection yet, well except for one Wave of Dreams I got from a charity auction...but your Cozy and Traces are SO GORGEOUS! And that last photo of your Azure Bubbles is simply breathtaking.
