Trollbeads website alert
For those that are new/unaware there a site live selling non Trollbeads for Trollbead....
http://www.the-jewelry-store.com/trollbead-pandora-chamilia-reflections-store
The beads are no Trollbeads and usually with these sites the risk of having your credit card looted is even more imminent.

Re: Trollbeads website alert
Thanks for the warning! I took a quick look and none of the beads I saw were Trollbeads, but the newer collectors may not realize it!

Re: Trollbeads website alert
OMG that is really bad, Trollbeads should definitely sue for copyright infringement. They are using the term "trollbead" as if it was a generic bead term...NO NO NO!

Thank you for this info. I am appalled that a company can get away with this I hope TBHQ puts a stop to them asap.

Re: Trollbeads website alert
This is just sick. they dont even went throught the work of stealing stock pictures. so obvious fakes. well at least it is good for us they dont seem to know what they are doing. :/
Re: Trollbeads website alert
The scariest part is not that they are fake but that it's most likely used to steal your credit card number.
Re: Trollbeads website alert
They're not exactly fakes, they look like they're all beads by Sterling Reflections, which is a pretty decent brand name itself. It's just that they're using "Trollbeads" as the generic for all European bead charms.
I bet they used to say Pandora!

Re: Trollbeads website alert
Why can't they just say European style bead? None of us will mistake them for Trollbeads, but imagine a newbie landing there? If you have pretty beads, you don't need to steal someone else's trademark/name, you will want to make your own name! Even a die hard Trollbead addict can have their head turned by a pretty bead!

Re: Trollbeads website alert
Thank you for the heads up..... I definitely took a peak and it's funny because none o them look like trollbeads but if you were not aware of TB products it could be very confusing....

Re: Trollbeads website alert
Just a thought ... maybe they think they are " safe" because of the name Reflections Trollbeads ?

Re: Trollbeads website alert
Using "trollbeads" in the name is NOT a good thing. I have had customers come to me saying "oh I have this bead, its a trollbead" (when its NOT, but its hard to correct a customer who is set with what they have).
This is NOT good, I am appauled! Those beads are ugly and I wish they didn't use trollbead as a generic name, when it obviously is not. Can TB patent or copyright their name? They had this same issue with the novo beads didn't they?

Re: Trollbeads website alert
Thats a shame.
I tend to stick with the retailers I have known the longest and spoke to in chat or by email.
I am just going to start lurking ebay to see what is up there...
Thanks for the heads up.
