Post by Lunar-Belle Wed Jan 08, 2020 12:27 am

Hi everyone I'm new to collecting trollbeads and I have come across a listing on Facebook and I am tempted to get the beads but the seller does not know the names of the beads.
Can anyone help.
Sorry one of the pictures is blurry but all I was sent.

Thank you in advance beads - Identifying beads _2020010

Well, they all look like they’ve been wet and need a good clean. The pink bead at the top and the blue one at the bottom have blackened cores and maybe the yellow bead too. So it depends on if that bothers you. The little dark (amber?) bead has a large core, so I would want to see a stamp (LAA 925) for that one. The lace lock looks okay, I don’t think the spring is damaged. The elephant could be troll, but the silvers are easy to fake and I don’t recognise the other two silvers.

Actually, the middle silver bead could be faith, hope and charity up side down.

I think Pandabee is right: two of the silvers are definitely 'Faith, Hope and Charity' and 'Elephant', but I don't recognise the one on the left.
The top three glass beads look like Pink Ribbon, Blue Petal and Honey Dawn to me.

I’d say the blue bead is blue silver trace. The third silver could be a letter bead? The tarnish would probably clean up a bit with a silver cloth, but obviously steer clear of any kind of silver dip!
