Very very very old Trollbeads (XX PIC HEAVY)

As promised, here are some pics of some of my ancient beads bracelets ~ I'm as addicted to them as I am to Trollbeads, I feel like they really do have a story to tell . Sorry some of the pics are so dull, the sun only made a brief appearance here today after hiding for over a week!

Ancient Egyptian stones and scarabs with glass made to look like aventurine. The creamy faience bead and scarab were a precursor to glass

Wow these are really amazing Are they really ancient beads?? I love the clasps. Did you make them? where did you get the beads?

Hehe yes they're real ancient beads, I buy them from all over, I have a few lovely dealers that I trust that help me out when I'm looking for particular beads and have learnt (as with Trollbeads!) where the fakes are . I make the bracelets, the clasps and findings are all from artisans on etsy who are also lovely and custom make me things to finish the designs .

WOW! Those are amazing and beautiful! I thought the only beads I liked were Trollbeads and such but these could be the beginning of another addiction I have always been fascinated with old ancient relics and items. I like to think of where they have been and what they have seen. WOW, so awesome! Your designs are outstanding!! Thank you for sharing your treasures!

Truly amazing collection, they really are treasures!

What an incredible collection of treasures you have there. I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to feel those beauties on your arm, with all of their history. I think I would find their presence distracting as I would be thinking of who wore them, and what they did with them on. Probably scenes of love and lust, (maybe even a smattering of ancient daily life), ravaging through my mind all day. What? Did somebody say something?

Fascinating and distinctive - I love so many of them. I still have some Yemenite silver studded black coral prayer beads somewhere but nothing like those 'fishnet' ones.

I am loving these beads, Splinty! My father was born in Estonia, and one of his treasures was some Viking beads he carried with him through the war and then all the way to Australia. I never had any idea of what to do with them, but maybe one day I will be able to put together a bracelet... Thank you so much for sharing these with us!

Those are amazing. I had no idea beads like that existed. I love thinking about all the hands that have touched them over time and the places they have travelled.
