Beads, beads everywhere
The postie has been busy at my house!
This one was an impulse buy today - sold to me as an OOAK, it's a gemstone but I don't know what. Anybody know?
My Wonderland bracelet
New bracelet!

Lovely beads, you'll find that troll coin handy!!...
Also, how do you grow your nails so long? I've been painting mine with OPI nail envy for months and I can only achieve a third your length!
Oh NO!! I have nail envy, that's how it works!!

Re: Beads, beads everywhere
Pandabee, I found that the nailpolish stuff didn't work for me, I chewed anyway! I did it through basic sheer will, I was just so sick of having short nails! I find that occasionally painting them does help though, bright colours so that you don't want to mess them up by gnawing I did have my nails much longer (I can dig out a photo if you'd like!) but had to trim them down because they were scaring people haha. It's soo good for itchy backs though.
I do so love the troll coin!
And thank you Coralie!

Once you've grown your nails you must do only the bare minimum of housework to preserve them.

But of course! Saying that, if you keep on top of them they do eventually harden; I would prefer them to snap sometimes as having them bend and bleed makes your eyes water!

Mine tear into the nailbed, especially my thumbs. I normally end up catching them as I close the car door? (I have no idea how) Perhaps I have the soft nail gene?

Lovely beads!!
I wish I could grow my nails out like that, but I play musical instruments that require me to keep them short.

Gorgeous beads! The gemstone looks to me like it could be one of the leopard skin jaspers? I have a couple I can take a picture of for you to compare them.

I like your Alice bracelet, nice design and choice of beads.
And I had the same flash of nail envy! I always rip mine whenever we travel. Must be from handling luggage in a hurry, but I never feel it when it happens.

Re: Beads, beads everywhere
Thank you!
Magpie Kate, I would love to see your leopard-skin jaspers if you have time.
Here are my latest additions! (do excuse the cat hair, my cat saw me put the beads down for a quick photo and plonked his butt on top!!)
Apricot Blossom WT bead
The best turquoise feather I could find, I'm happy with it. Been looking at these for what seems like forever and a day!
My new lock! Love it except for one minor flaw.. (excuse fingers on the lense!)
It has a small piece of colour on the front of the ball (so technical I know lol) which bugs me a little. This ball is also bigger than the other side. Other than that, I love it, and want more mexican locks! Absolutely love the colours on both sides , particularly the bright blue/green!

Nice beads and stunning lock. Do not mind the differences on it. I would love it just like it is. And the best lock and beads are perfectly fit together! Congratulation!

My Mexican lock has wonky balls too, but I love it anyway. Lovely beads, especially that AB WT.

Love the beads and your bracelets!
To Pandabee: I used Nailenvy from OPI for a long time and I have one thing to say about it. Don't use it longer than it says on the package!!! I had it on under my polish for a year and a half, put it on once a week when doing my nails. Then one day I saw 3 of my nails where comming of the nailbed!!!!
I stopped using it at once but it took a long time for my nails to fasten again!

Fera, that made my eyes water! Stop using it Pandabee!!
Pandabee, it's good to hear mine isnt the only wonky balled one I will keep it and love its flaws anyway because I absolutely love the colour & design.
Thank you sunny01!

Love the beads! Your dillo is a beauty, as is your antique flower.
The flowers have a beautiful colour on this bead.
Can't wait to see the other pics!
