Re: My Rutil quartz
They're lovely. Did you have to buy two books as well?

These beads look so good when real people take pics!
Ok, I was trying so hard not to love these beads, but the more I see them, the more they remind me of a bowl of rice with nori flakes. I may NEED one for my Japanese themed bracelet. Hmmmm...
Tell me I am crazy...

Re: My Rutil quartz
How true, they remind me of a bowl of rice with nori flakes too. I don't have any Japanese beads but was thinking it would look nice with my Mountain Crystal beads. My LD will receive the bead/book combo next week so will have to have a play and no, you're not crazy!kitsunegrl wrote:

Look half way down the right side of Heidi's homepage until you see the two little flags. Click on the Union Jack and it will translate the site into English.

I've been dreaming of a Japanese-themed bracelet. Rice w/nori flakes is an excellent description of the bead!

Kathleen you got two absolutely stunning beads, very lucky indeed! I saw 5 today and only one was nice, rest looked like garden rocks.
