New pendant with odd inspiration

Last Friday afternoon, I fell off of a step ladder in my house and landed on my face and have been sporting a pretty terrible black eye ever since.  I tried covering it with makeup--but it felt terrible and looked just as bad (I'm definitely not a makeup artist) so have given up on disguising it.  Yesterday, I received my beautiful new pendant from Catsworld and so today my combo combines inspiration from the beautiful new pendant and my misadventure with the ladder.

First I selected a shirt to match the numerous green/brown hues around my eye - then matched the pendant and beads to the shirt.

It's a beautiful new pendant and good to see, that you take the inspiration with a smile  

poor you I couldn't cover it either, just make the best fun out of it... that's all you can do and wait until it's over...

as regards to your household-accident, it is the year of the monkey and I feel it strongly, every little bit this year that could possibly go wrong went wrong, latest episode the heating broke down, was meant to be repaired this morning, but no.... they did not change the electronic device but went on testing and fiddling with it, monkeys!
well I got 7cats, at nighttime they came in handy I tell you, all curled around me, I could hardly move or breathe...

anyone got the Ohm monkey bead? I didn't but I am starting to consider it, however, don't want to commemorate this year, not really.

Your new pendant is very lovely- it reminds me of these special „spoons“ that you can use to get honey out of the pot And I love that you have the (black (pun intended ) humor to make the best out of your black eye!

This is scary... My heating system is just repaired after about a week it took to get replacement parts 


And the heating system of good frinds broke down at the same time and the also struggled to get the required parts... So far I had not thought about the year of the monkey.

Talk about lemons into lemonade, you go, girl! Jeepers be careful out there, everyone stay away from ladders for another few months. Maybe I'll let DH clean the gutters.  Great combo with your new pendant Kyhalfpt, that green sand is especially lovely . Hope your black and blue soon fades.
