Trollbeads Summer Stone kit 2013 pictures

If you missed out on the 2011 release the Summer Stone kit is a great way to catch up. The natural smooth amethyst and the nephrite may prove to be the most popular beads from this kit. A few retailers may decide to split up the kits and sell individual beads. The Summer Stone kit retails at $186/€168 per kit or $31/€28 each.

Summer Stone kit:

Trollbeads 2011 LE Semi Precious Germstones

I love the Onyx FN combo ! With Grandmas favourite, the Teacup and Elderflower I can imagine a Victorian lady wearing it for tea with the Vicar

They look great, just me
but is the release worldwide or is it only selected countries who receiving them for sale?

World wide as far as we know of.

It's about time that they had this release.

I would just like an amethyst from this release, I hope it will not be too difficult to buy one.

The old lady has dyed her hair that lilac blue rinse colour. The necklace is perfect for her.

I have seen a kit today at a jewel; really nice. But they are huge! Thats a bit dissapointing.
They had them on display, but not for sale today; then I had to come back the 31th.

huge? the beads I saw (in germany) were normal sized - like picasso jaspis.
no one was huge.

perhaps netherlands get other edition...

I have measured one of the amethysts and it is 14mm diameter and 5-6mm width. It is a slightly different shape to the previous limited edited - less pointed.

Or you both have a different definition of huge!

huge in my opinion is about 15mm or bigger.
Only the amethyst was about 14mm. And yes, they all were a bit fatter, so less pointless. But I have seen only 1 kit , so I don't know if that is representative...

Last week, I picked up 5 of the summer stones. A bit earlier than the release but I guess that I've spent enough money at my LD that they let me sneak some out of the store early - LOL. They are beautiful. Rhyolite & red mud jasper are my favorites from this release although each of them are very pretty.

Huge beads are a bummer for me as well. However, my beads are around 14mm so they play nicely with the other beads.

Correction -- my beads are around 15mm but they must have looked like they are 14mm since I have them next to some big beads. I have a couple of "big boys" around 16-17mm. The summer stones worked nice with them.

Diamonds4ever are selling them individually so I have ordered an Amethyst. I am looking forward to seeing photos and combinations with the new beads.

The Zebra Jasper sent to my LD is a dull dark brown stone without any markings so be careful about buying without seeing.

I buyed 6 stones. one is pink with chocolate on the side.
