These are absolutely divine

I am worried by how the dragon managed to lay such big eggs.

...and I hope they came out the right way so they weren't too prickly!

Don't worry. I think it would have been fine ~ it's like petrol/diesel pumps, they wouldn't fit if they were the wrong way round so no dangerous mistakes can be made

I wouldn't like dragons to become extinct because of this.

The egg is partly 'cracked and open'...  but it's no hole, just not covered with scales on that spot.

Wish I'd bought the whole set, my dippy egg just arrived and I love it    

(btw does the unhatched, uncracked egg sit straight on with a central hole, with the other two having diagonal holes and sitting at an angle?)

Yes, the two diagonal versions are both at a different angle, and have also 'cracked up' differently. The uncracked egg is the only one straight up.
